Science Fair

Science fair is when a student’s creativeness and ingenuity is challenged to the limit.  Science fair projects are all the students’ idea and resourcefulness - teachers simply stir them to the right directions and, of course, give them all the moral support they need by  way of encouraging them to do their projects.  “Learning science is what the students do, not what is done for them.”  Students’ science fair projects are first evaluated by their science teachers - give them credit towards their science grade.  If the project is good enough, it will be among the exhibits during the science fair.

The science fair judges, composed of all science teachers, determine the winning entries of the exhibits.  The year’s winning entries are listed below.  It took two meeting sessions for the judges to pin point the winners:  three grand prizes for three categories (invention, research and poster).  There were three first prizes- one for each category;  three second prizes, three third prizes and five consolation prizes for each category.
