On September 26, 53 grade 11 students and 5 Teachers  went to Ban Bang Kae, Thonburi. We were told to meet in school before 7:30 a.m. However, the van left at 9:00 a.m.! The trip took about 2 hours, since we had to cross to the other side of the Chao Phraya River to the Thonburi side. Moreover, we had to wait for about 30 minutes for the other van to catch up.

Ban Bang Kae, is a foundation set up for elderly people. It’s a beautiful place, with a big lake in the middle. It’s a perfect place for elderly people to rest until their final days. We sang and talked to them. What we saw there is an example of a place of love. We enjoyed the outreach and it was a good experience for all of us.
