Eat Breakfast, the Most Important Meal of the Day!

Breakfast gives you the energy you need to start your day. Skipping breakfast is like trying to drive your car before you put any fuel in the car’s tank.
A good breakfast could include whole grain cereal and fresh fruit, rice with vegetables or wholegrain toast with peanut butter and banana. These foods provide many nutrients and give energy over a longer period of time. Eating a nutritious breakfast helps people to think more clearly when they study and gives them energy to enjoy their day.
Some foods that are not so good to eat for breakfast include donuts, high-sugar drinks and candy bars. These foods may provide some energy, but it is not long lasting. Once the energy they provide is gone, it is harder to think and some people get sleepy or irritable. These foods also contain a lot of sugar and fat which are bad for a person’s heart and overall health.
