All library users are considered patrons and are responsible for knowing and following the rules and regulations stated in this handbook.

Patrons should…

• Take responsibility for all materials borrowed under their profile.
• Return all checked out materials to the library on or before the due date.
• Notify the librarian immediately if the checked out materials are lost or stolen.
• Take responsibility for the cost of replacing lost materials.
• Leave their shoes and bags in the cubby holes provided outside the library.
• Keep the library clean and things in order.
• Leave the library quietly after having pushed the chair back in.
• Remove any books, files or other personal belongings left on the tables to make room for other patrons.
• Leave food or drinks outside the library.
• Use their mobile phones outside the library in order to maintain silence in the library.
• Use the internet accordingly. Playing non-educational games or chatting online is strictly prohibited.
