Dear parents, students, faculty and staff and all the well-wishers
Greetings from RAIS! We have begun the 2011/2012school year after the summer vacation. While our students were holidaying, the RAIS administration was busy improving the facilities of the physical plant of the school in order to make our school a better place for learning. Almost every building on the school campus underwent some improvement during the holidays. The floor of building “A” was done in improving the aesthetics of the EFL section. In the past, most probably you would have noticed the rough spots on walk way or the shaded corridors between the buildings. All the walkways were paved again in order to provide a safe and a beautiful environment. The elementary school classrooms (building B) were also given a new coat of paint. The building “E” was given a major repair. The area for music was expanded to provide students with larger rooms with new flooring and painting to make learning more comfortable.

The school administration provided a huge amount of financial resources to purchase new educational tools and material. Some of the items purchased during the holidays are 30 computers, 5 Apple computers, 1 I-pad, soft-ware valued over Baht 500,000, musical instruments worth more than 300,000, cameras and other accessories for the teaching of art.
We thank you for choosing RAIS to educate your child. We promise to do our best in providing instruction of very high quality. We do hope to work closely with parents in educating and training the students entrusted to our care. Working together in the year 2011-2012, we can find ways to achieve the goals of our students.
Please inform your children about the importance of coming to school on time, being diligent in the studies and following the school rules indicated in the student hand book. Please feel free to contact me or the relevant section heads or teachers if you have any queries.
We wish you good health, prosperity and God’s choicest blessings always.
Sincerely yours
Peter Munasinghe
Principal
