Admission Requirements
Any student who desires a quality English education and willingly supports the Christian standards and goals of RAIS is welcome to apply. To qualify for admission, all students are required to pass a mandatory entrance exam. Students below the required standards for English will be placed in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) program provided all other requirements are satisfactory. Prior to admission, the candidate will also have to appear for an interview after the written examination.
Students must be physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially ready for school.
Age Requirements of Applicants
The following age requirements must be met before enrollment.
- Daycare student must be at least 1 years of age.
- Nursery student must be at least 2 years of age.
- K 1 students must be at least three years of age.
- K 2 students must be at least four years of age.
- K 3 students must be at least five years of age.
- Grade 1 students must be at least six years of age.
Any request for exceptions to these regulations should be made in writing to the school’s Academic Committee.
Application Procedure
A student who wishes to apply at RAIS should take the following steps.
- Visit the school to view the facilities.
- Purchase an application form. This is a non-refundable fee.
- Submit a completed application form in addition to the following documents at the registrar’s office:
a. a copy of the student’s passport/birth certificate
b. a copy of residence certificate
c. 3 passport size photos of the student (1” x 1”)
d. 2 passport size photos of each parent (1” x 1”)
e. previous school records (report cards/official transcripts and recommendation letters)
f. health records (signed by a certified physician)
- Make an appointment for an admission/placement test.
- Take the necessary test to determine placement. Students who need to enrich English language will be placed in the EFL program.
Registration Procedure
Students who are accepted should follow these steps for enrollment:
STEP 1: Register on the designated dates at registrar’s office.
STEP 2: Present the acceptance letter from the Public Relations Officer to the Registrar.
STEP 3: Receive his/her RAIS ID number from the Registrar
STEP 4: Pay the school fees at the cashier’s office or finance office. (For further information on payment options, please refer to Educational Fees.)
STEP 5: Purchase school uniforms and school supplies from the school store.
STEP 6: Collect required textbooks from the bookroom.
Placement Tests
Grade placement for any student entering RAIS is based on the school’s evaluation of the student’s educational background and competency in English. Placement may be reviewed.
Both written and oral tests are conducted only in English. Determining the applicant’s proficiency in the English language is based on:

- Computing
- Problem solving
- Word problems
Transcripts and Letters of Recommendation
Students requiring transcripts and letters of recommendation must do the following:
- Please ask for the form from the Public Relations Office.
- Fill in the form and pay the transcript fee at the Finance Office.
- Submit the request for transcript to the Public Relations Office.
- Collect the transcript/letter from the Registrar’s Office after three working days.
