Welcome to the Physical Education (PE) Department of Ramkhamhaeng Advent International School. This department plays an integral part of RAIS' educational program designed to promote the optimum development of an individual physically, socially, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually through total body movement in the performance of properly selected physical activities. That is why RAIS Physical Education teachers plan collaboratively, selecting appropriate content and teaching strategies to meet the needs of the students.
Every quarter of the school year brings new learning activities and enjoyment to every student. Various sports activities are introduced such as basketball, volleyball, football, futsal, handball, badminton, table tennis, track and field, and parlor games for younger students in order to cater to the individual needs and differences of each student. These activities give students the opportunity not just to compete with the other students and to prove their worth, but to mingle, socialize and establish friendship with other students.
During the school year 2010-2011, our department witnessed and celebrated multiple achievements. A total of 17 championship matches were won by our teams, which brought pride to both RAIS and our parents. This year, the PE department continues to be a member of the International Schools Athletic Association (ISAA) and looks forward to bringing home more trophies and accolades at the end of the year.
