General Admission Requirements:

      • Applicants must have completed Grade 12 (M6) from an accredited school or expect to complete all requirements for a secondary school certificate prior to entering the Program.  Applicants graduating from an international school or school abroad must submit the certificate of equivalence issued by the Ministry of Education (Thailand) to support their academic qualifications.

Bachelor of Economics (BE) International Program

      • Successful applicants must pass both written exam and the interview.

The written exam may be fulfilled by one of the following options:

        • Competitive B.E. written examination in ‘Math & Stat’ and ‘English’ OR
        • Total SAT I (Math and Verbal) score of at least 1,100 OR
        • Minimum SAT I Math score of 580 and minimum TOEFL score of 550 (213 for the computer-based test), or minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or minimum TU-GET score of 550.
      • Admission Schedule:
        • Application forms available:  January-February
        • Application forms submission:  February
        • Written examination:  March
        • Announcement of written examination results:  April
        • Interview:  April
        • Announcement of interview results:  May

Thammasat English Programme of Engineering (TEPE) & Twinning Engineering Programmes (TEP)

      • To be admitted to the programmes, it is assumed that applicants have studied mathematics, physics, and chemistry equivalent to M.6/Grade 12.  If applicants have not studied those prerequisite subjects, they may not be qualified for admission.
      • Students are admitted for the first semester starting in June.  To maintain the academic quality at a high level, the number of each yearly intake is limited to 110 students for TEP and 75 students for TEPE. 
      • The programmes admit students through the following three channels:
        • TEP & TEPE Examination:  Applicants may choose to sit for the TEP & TEPE examination conducted in English, inclusive of the following subjects: Mathematics, Science (Physics & Chemistry), and English.  Applicants may prefer to submit the Thai National Entrance Examination Scores/Standardized Test Scores of any subject to substitute for the written examination of that subject.
        • National Entrance Examination Scores Submission:  To be admitted to the TEP & TEPE programmes, applicants may choose to submit the Thai National Entrance Examination scores, which meet the programme’s minimum requirements, directly to the programme to substitute for the TEP/TEPE written examination.  The required Thai National Entrance Examination scores are inclusive of Mathematics 1, Physics, Chemistry, and English.  Alternatively, applicants may choose to directly apply for the Thai National Entrance Examination set up by the Commission on Higher Education. 
        • Standardized Test Scores Submission:  Applicants may choose to submit the following standardized test scores, which meet the programme’s minimum requirements:
          • Mathematics and Sciences skills

Applicants may submit any one of the following:
a.) SAT II: Mathematics IC or IIC, Physics, and Chemistry
b.) GCE-O’ level: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, plus other 2 subjects
c.) IGCSE: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, plus other 2 subjects
d.) IB: Mathematics (HL), Physics (HL), Chemistry (HL), plus other 2 subjects (HL)

          •  English proficiency

Applicants may choose to submit any one of the following:
a.) IELTS
b.) TOEFL
c.) TU-GET

      • Admission Period:  March

Academic Year Calendar: 

      • 1st Semester: August-December
      • 2nd Semester: January-May
      • Summer:  June-July
