Welcome to the RAIS Math Department! We offer a comprehensive range of mathematics courses, including Algebra II, Geometry, Precalculus, Statistics, and Calculus. Our curriculum follows the High School Mathematics Common Core State Standards, ensuring that students gain the rigorous knowledge and skills needed for success in college, careers, and life.<\/p>\n

In addition to these courses, we also offer all the Advanced Placement (AP) courses in mathematics, providing students with the opportunity to earn college credit and further enhance their academic profiles.<\/p>\n

Our courses are designed to facilitate a smooth transition from high school to university, and to prepare students for external exams such as the SAT, MAP, and various university entrance exams. Our dedicated and highly qualified faculty members are committed to making math learning an enjoyable experience. They foster curiosity, encourage inquiry, and promote logical thinking and critical reasoning.<\/p>\n

We aim to prepare students for successful roles in an ever-changing society by challenging them to persevere and appreciate the intrinsic beauty of mathematics. One of our key activities for the school year is STEM Week, organized in collaboration with the Science and IT Departments. Additionally, we proudly participate in the annual Singapore and Asian Schools Mathematics Olympiad (SASMO).<\/p>\n
